HI friends, I’m Hollie

HMH Collective is based out of Key West, Florida. I started HMH CO in 2017, but I have had a passion for capturing moments and memories since I was a little girl. I remember having disposable cameras with me whenever I could. Then, I got a little point and shoot in middle school! I took photography and film classes in high school, but I believe creating grows best with experience and practice. So I worked hard and saved up for my first “professional” camera. Photography is truly something that fills up my cup and brings broken parts of me, back to life.

Doing photography has helped me pursue going on a mission trip to Africa, to capture moments with my loved ones, things that made my heart full, and now my ever growing family! My work is inspired by intertwining moments, laughter, our own entanglements with one another, and our connections with the world!

How I became a wedding and elopement photographer was mainly because of my own wedding day. In 2015 I eloped at the courthouse with my husband Jesse in Hawaii. AND HECK YES, it’s beautiful there! We later had a reception in Charleston, South Carolina to celebrate with some friends and family. Unfortunately our “big day” left me feeling sad, bitter, and frustrated. I wanted to do what I could to help others avoid feeling this way. I knew I could take my heart for people, my photography business, and put them into serving you! Taking what matters and connecting the details!

With HMH Collective I strive to capture the unposed moments, laughing with each of you: human to human. I come with my heart fully invested; being a friend, your biggest fan, and your confidant during your session. Our time isn’t about being robots, but humans having fun, sharing our visions, and capturing moments we can hold onto for a lifetime. I know one of my favorite things is making you feel special and truly valued! You can count on me (enter Bruno mars lyrics here haha) to make sure nothing’s in your teeth, your hair’s where it needs to be; windy or not, makeup isn’t coming off, removing those forgotten hair ties (we’ve all been there), and reminding you to take a deep breath!

WE GOT THIS; TOGETHER!
